1. Website operator and acceptance
This website is operated by SIONA TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED, Company No. PVT-YQ19MQ32 ("Siona"). By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Website Terms of Use to the extent applicable to your use.
These Terms do not replace a signed MSA, SOW, SaaS agreement, product terms, marketplace terms, NDA, DPA or other specific agreement. If you become a Siona client or product user, the applicable specific agreement governs that relationship.
2. Informational website; no automatic contract
Website descriptions of capabilities, products, research, pricing concepts, timelines, availability, case studies or future plans are general information unless expressly stated as a binding offer.
Submitting a contact or project enquiry does not by itself create a client relationship, duty to accept a project, exclusivity arrangement, confidentiality obligation beyond applicable law, or agreement on scope, price or delivery. A project becomes binding only through the applicable authorised quotation, MSA, SOW, order form, product terms or other agreement.
3. Accuracy, availability and product status
Siona aims to keep corporate website information accurate but may correct, update, remove or reorganise content without notice. Pages may identify a technology as live, in development, experimental, research-stage or planned. Visitors must not assume that an unreleased capability is commercially available merely because it is described.
4. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website's original text, visual design, software, graphics, branding, SIONA name/marks, layouts, documentation and Siona-created materials are owned by or licensed to Siona and protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may view the website and make reasonable personal or internal-business reference to public pages. You may not copy, scrape, republish, sell, reverse engineer or exploit protected website content beyond lawful exceptions or express permission.
5. Acceptable use and security
- Do not attempt unauthorised access to accounts, administrative interfaces, APIs, networks or infrastructure.
- Do not introduce malware, destructive code, credential attacks, denial-of-service traffic or abusive automation.
- Do not probe, scan, exploit or publicly disclose a suspected vulnerability beyond what is permitted by law or an express Siona authorisation.
- Do not impersonate Siona, its personnel, clients or partners.
- Do not use the website to transmit unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, threatening or malicious material.
- Do not systematically scrape or harvest personal/contact information for spam, profiling or resale.
Good-faith security researchers should use the published security contact.
6. User submissions and enquiries
You remain responsible for information you submit and must have the right to provide it. Do not submit third-party confidential information, personal data, production datasets, source code or regulated data through a general contact form unless authorised and appropriate. Submitting an idea does not transfer ownership of your pre-existing intellectual property to Siona; receipt of an unsolicited idea does not prevent Siona from developing independently similar concepts.
7. Third-party links and services
The website may link to third-party platforms, messaging services, client/project sites or other external resources. Siona does not control all third-party content, security, availability or privacy practices. A link does not automatically imply endorsement.
8. Consumer and electronic transactions
If Siona later offers a consumer transaction directly through the corporate website, the applicable checkout/order flow must provide the disclosures and acceptance mechanics required by applicable law. These general Website Terms are not intended to remove non-excludable consumer rights. Electronic messages and online acceptance may be used to form contracts where legally valid, but specific transactions may have additional formal requirements.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the public corporate website and general informational content are provided on an 'as available' basis. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Liability for an actual Siona service, product or client engagement is governed by the applicable specific contract.
10. Privacy
Website personal data is handled under the Website Privacy Notice. Cookies and tracking technologies are addressed in the Cookie & Tracking Notice.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Website Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, subject to any mandatory consumer or other law that applies to a visitor. The courts of Kenya have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these general Website Terms, without preventing either party from using another competent forum where mandatory law requires or permits it.
12. Changes and company information
Siona may update these Website Terms. The effective date/version shown on the website identifies the current published terms.
