Accessibility Statement

SIONA TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED aims to make its digital services usable by more people, including people who rely on assistive technologies. This statement explains our approach, known limits, and how to request help.

1. Our commitment

SIONA TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED designs and operates software, websites and digital products for businesses, institutions and communities. We work to improve accessibility over time, with attention to keyboard use, readable structure, meaningful labels, contrast, and clear interaction patterns.

This statement covers sionaglobal.com and provides general guidance for Siona products that rely on this page. Individual products may also have interface constraints based on how they are delivered (for example, messaging platforms).

2. Standards we aim toward

Where practical, we aim to align public Siona web experiences with commonly recognised accessibility practices informed by WCAG 2.2 Level AA guidance. This is an improvement goal, not a claim that every page or product has completed a formal third-party audit or is fully compliant with every accessibility law in every jurisdiction.

ADA and similar legal frameworks may apply differently depending on audience, market and product context. Siona treats accessibility as an ongoing product and engineering responsibility rather than a one-time certification.

3. Measures we take

  • Semantic page structure, headings and landmarks on corporate web pages where implemented.
  • Skip-to-content links on the corporate website.
  • Visible focus states and keyboard-reachable navigation, forms and interactive controls where implemented.
  • Alternative text for informative images; decorative images marked appropriately where implemented.
  • Responsive layouts for common mobile and desktop viewports.
  • Clear language for legal, contact and support journeys where possible.

4. Known limitations

Some experiences may still present barriers. Examples can include:

  • older content, experimental Labs material or third-party embeds that have not yet been fully reviewed;
  • complex visual or interactive demos that may be harder with some assistive technologies;
  • product interfaces delivered through third-party platforms whose accessibility Siona does not fully control.

We welcome reports so we can prioritise fixes.

5. Siona products, including Weza AI

Siona products may be accessed through websites, apps or messaging channels. For example, Weza AI is a Siona product that provides AI-assisted business recording mainly through the WhatsApp Business Platform. In that case:

  • much of the day-to-day interaction happens inside WhatsApp;
  • accessibility of the WhatsApp client is governed by Meta/WhatsApp's own interfaces and settings;
  • Weza is designed around conversational input, including text, voice notes and receipt images, which can help different users capture records in different ways;
  • Weza supports English, Kiswahili and mixed English/Kiswahili conversation where the product provides that capability;
  • product marketing and account pages (such as weza.sionaglobal.com) should follow Siona's accessibility improvement approach for web content.

6. Compatibility and assistive technology

We aim for compatibility with current major browsers and common assistive technologies. Results can vary by device, browser version, operating system and assistive-technology settings. If something does not work for you, please tell us what you were trying to do and which tools you were using.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility requests promptly and work toward a practical response. Complex issues may take longer depending on the product and the nature of the barrier.
