1. Your deletion rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request deletion of personal data that SIONA TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED holds about you in connection with Siona services. Related rights may also include access, correction, restriction, objection, portability/export where applicable, and withdrawal of consent where consent is the basis for processing.

2. Request deletion of your data
You may request deletion of personal data associated with Siona website interactions, enquiries, accounts, communications, Siona services that refer to this page, and other supported Siona products.

Recommended subject: Data Deletion Request
Please include only enough information for Siona to identify the relevant account or service, such as:
- full name, where applicable;
- email address used with Siona;
- phone number associated with the service;
- Siona product or service concerned;
- a brief description of the data you want deleted.
Do not email passwords, API keys, bank passwords, payment card details, private keys or authentication codes.
3. Identity verification
To protect users from unauthorised deletion requests, Siona may request reasonable information to verify that the requester is the person or authorised representative associated with the relevant account or data. Verification is intended to be proportional to the request and the sensitivity of the data involved.
4. What happens after a request
After a request is received, Siona generally:
- acknowledges the request;
- checks identity or account association where needed;
- identifies affected systems and data categories;
- deletes or anonymises data where legally and technically permitted;
- informs the requester when the request is completed or if further information is needed.
Siona aims to acknowledge valid privacy and deletion requests promptly and process them within the period required by applicable law. Complex requests, or requests that need identity clarification, may take longer.
5. Information we may need to retain
Deletion is not always immediate or absolute. Some information may need to be retained where necessary for legal obligations, tax or accounting obligations, fraud or security investigations, contract enforcement, dispute resolution, regulatory obligations, audit requirements, or prevention of duplicate or fraudulent transactions.
Where Siona is legally required or otherwise permitted to retain particular records, those records may be restricted from ordinary use and retained only for the applicable required period before deletion or anonymisation.
Data removed from active systems may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups expire or are overwritten according to Siona's backup and retention schedules.
Siona may also retain minimal request or audit information demonstrating that a deletion request was processed, where necessary for compliance or security purposes.
6. Product-specific deletion instructions
Some Siona products process different types of information and may therefore have additional deletion procedures. The sections below provide product-specific guidance. Additional products may be added over time.
6.1 Weza AI
Weza AI is operated by SIONA TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED and provides AI-assisted business functionality through the WhatsApp Business Platform.
A Weza deletion request may concern information such as:
- WhatsApp phone number;
- WhatsApp/Meta identifiers;
- message history processed by Weza;
- receipt images;
- invoice or document images;
- voice notes or audio;
- transcriptions;
- extracted transaction information;
- expense or sales records;
- categories and summaries;
- correction or review history;
- business or account configuration;
- associated technical or service metadata.

Please include:
- the WhatsApp phone number used with Weza;
- the business or account name, if applicable;
- what you want deleted — for example specific records, media/receipts, WhatsApp interaction data, or the entire Weza account/data set.
Do not send passwords, PINs, API keys or payment credentials.
Method B — WhatsApp request
You may also message Weza and request data deletion. The request may be routed for verification and processing by Siona support. This channel is available for convenience and does not replace the email channel above.
Specific records vs broader Weza data
Users may request deletion of a specific receipt, a specific uploaded document, a specific transaction where legally permitted, specific communication data, or their broader Weza account/personal data. For complete account or data-set deletion, some financial or accounting records may still need to be retained where law, contract or legitimate compliance obligations require them.
WhatsApp / Meta distinction
Deleting data held by Siona/Weza does not necessarily delete copies or records independently held by WhatsApp/Meta under Meta's own services and policies. If you want to manage or delete your WhatsApp account or Meta-controlled information, use WhatsApp/Meta's own privacy and account controls. Siona cannot delete Meta-controlled data on Meta's systems.
AI service providers
Where Weza sends data to approved AI providers for inference or transcription, deletion requests are handled according to Siona's applicable vendor arrangements and retention controls. This page does not make unsupported claims about third-party provider retention beyond those arrangements.
